Founder of Lotus Integrative Psychiatry
Welcome! I created this organization to transform the way mental health is viewed and treated. I believe in the integration of mind, body, and spirit, and that a holistic, individualized approach is imperative for healing. I unify science with compassion, traditional medicine with ancient wisdom, and research with creativity.
As a private pay clinic, I am able to tailor your treatment plan, including the therapies used and frequency and duration of appointments, to your individual needs without restrictions.
I am double-board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. With years of experience in treating both children and adults, my unique blend of age-appropriate integrative methods with modern medicine aims to provide optimal benefit while honoring your spirit and soul.

Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Management
The 60 min psychiatric evaluation consists of a comprehensive intake of your history. Intakes with children may need more than one appointment to complete the full assessment.
Together, we will decide the treatment or combination of treatments to fit your individual needs. The frequency of visits also depends on if and what medications are used, and what therapies we will utilize.

Psychotherapy
Therapy is an opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings to improve symptoms and your quality of life.
I utilize elements of supportive therapy, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy in our appointments. I also collaborate with a vast array of therapists, psychologists, and counselors for referrals for specialized therapy and neuropsychological evaluations.
I use Accelerated Resolution Therapy which combines elements of cognitive behavioral therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and guided imagery techniques to treat trauma and other concerns. It may provide a quicker improvement of symptoms and the patient may not need to verbally delve deeply into their symptoms.
A collaborative approach with your other therapists, providers, and schools is imperative for holistic treatment.

Integrative Treatments
- Mind-Body Medicine: There are numerous integrative treatments that can improve mood, energy, and cognition. There has been tremendous research showing the positive impact mind-body techniques, such as meditation, have on our mental and physical health. Benefits include an overall stress reduction, better focus and mental clarity, improved emotional regulation and self-awareness, as well as decreased blood pressure, and improved cholesterol and diabetes, just to name a few.
- Supplements: Studies show that nutritional supplements can play a supportive role in improving mental health.
- Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation: Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is FDA-approved for depression and OCD, however it has proven beneficial for numerous disorders without the common side effects of medications. I am certified in TMS and can provide care at an alternative clinic.
- Additional Interventions: I assist with referrals for further testing, neuropsychological evaluations, and therapy. I also collaborate with nearby clinics to provide interventions such as acupuncture, infrared light therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
